This week is International Networking Week and I wanted to take a few minutes to shine a light on how important it is to shop and promote your own community...
The goal of International Networking Week is to celebrate the key role that networking plays in the development and success of businesses across the world. I believe that our community and small businesses could grow and succeed through good networking practices!!! Networking is an essential tool for success in our community and I hope that everyone will make a conscious effort to praise, promote, and frequent all of the businesses and organizations that are available to us.
As the manager of Prairie's Edge, I promise to offer our community a selection of high quality products at the best possible price. Every customer that makes a purchase at Prairie's Edge is highly appreciated and every member of the community that recommends our store also deserves a huge THANK YOU!!! Local shoppers are essential to our success and we look forward to continuing to network with our community for many years to come.
I challenge all of you to strike a conversation about our community to someone every day. What should you talk about??? Here are some ideas to get you started...
*Tell a co-worker about the fabulous lunch that you ate, locally...
*Tell a friend about your FAVORITE product that you buy at a local store.
*Tell someone that you don't know- where they can find the best coffee in town.
*Talk about positive experiences from service businesses instead of only negative experiences.
The list goes on and on, but I hope that I have all of you thinking about how you might be able to help strengthen the networking of our community.
Happy Networking Week!!!
